The sequel to Lords of the Fallen, whose previous installment was released in 2023, will receive an official reveal at next week’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, following a series of hints that ended with a direct statement from the developer’s CEO.
Opening Night Live host Jeff Kelly took to social media to post an image with the Roman numeral II drawn in blood, accompanied by the words Blood Will Spill, hinting at a new game that will be shown during the event and it seems that the show will be the first to be revealed at the event.
Immediately afterward, Mark Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, shared the same image with the caption: “Lords of the Fallen II,” effectively confirming the game’s identity before the full official announcement.
Although the 2023 release of Lords of the Fallen was not an exceptional success at launch, subsequent updates significantly improved the experience, making the game rank as one of the innovative Soulslike titles thanks to its idea of two parallel worlds.
Available information suggests that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released in 2026, and the official launch date could be revealed during the Gamescom event.
