Former Falcons executive joins NIP as chief operating officer

Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) has announced the appointment of Grant Rousseau, former Director of Esports at Falcons Esport, as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

During his time with the Falcons, Rousseau served as Global Director of Esports and led the team to two Esports World Cup titles, before opting for a new experience with the NIP organization.

Russo expressed his excitement about the new move through his account on the X platform, stressing that what drove him to join NIP was the ambitious vision led by CEO Hisham Shaheen, along with the organization’s strong foundation and history in global tournaments. He also emphasized that he looks forward to contributing to returning the team to its natural position at the top of the global eSports landscape.

The appointment comes at a time when NIP is rebuilding its identity and strengthening its competitive and commercial presence, drawing on the experience of its new staff and its legacy as one of the most prominent organizations in esports history.
