Embark Studios is preparing to launch its highly anticipated ARC Raiders, a shooter and mining game that was a huge success during its previous testing phases earlier this year, receiving wide acclaim from players around the world.
Despite the great success and high demand for the game, Embark confirmed that it will not conduct any further testing before the official launch date of October 30, 2025, and also announced that the game will not appear in any form at Gamescom, contrary to the expectations of its growing fanbase.
While some understand the importance of focusing on the quality of the final release, many gamers have pointed out that the success of the game’s previous tests, as well as the huge popularity of the Battlefield 6 beta, proves that these tests are capable of boosting enthusiasm and support for any new title.
The launch of ARC Raiders comes at a busy time for major releases, with Battlefield 6 coming out this year amid expectations that it will dominate the shooter market, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is gearing up for its full reveal next week during the Opening Night Live event at Gamescom.
